While we already have the generic pop song that can be used in just about any commercial, we finally have its companion: the generic celebrity endorsement.
Because when celebrities are playing themselves and not a character in said commercial, they tend to go down one route: They’re just like us, and they have the ability to dream to prove it.
Only, once they accomplish their dreams, they have dreams about dreams and of dreaming dreams. For safe measure, let’s throw in some walking overshots and a glimpse of a cheering crowd because they made it big.
And soon enough, you’ll forget what’s even being sold to you.
