Store security team springs into action to celebrate 10,000th shoplifter

A Dutch woman was just looking to steal something from a store, but instead she got the surprise of a lifetime.

The store’s security team must have been preparing for its 10,000th shoplifter for weeks, because when this woman started doing her thing, they were ready. Someone on the store floor had her cornered, but then the welcoming committee arrived to celebrate with music, a hat, and a cake.

The sheer embarrassment of this experience probably did more than any jail sentence ever could to convince this woman never to shoplift again.
