Since its 2012 debut, popular manga The Seven Deadly Sins has inspired several games, including one for the Nintendo 3DS and another for smartphones. Now Bandai Namco Entertainment is raising the stakes with the series’ first action game for PlayStation 4.
The manga, which follows a group of—you guessed it—seven people who form “the most vile order of knights the Kingdom has ever produced” has a loyal fanbase who have yet to see a game that features the kind of action that a manga this intense deserves.
The story in the manga and subsequent anime follows the disbanded order of knights known as The Seven Deadly Sins, who were exiled after being framed for an attempt to overthrow the monarchy. The princess, Elizabeth, discovers the plot by the king’s guard too late and has to flee the kingdom following her father’s assassination.
The princess seeks the Sins to help her reclaim the kingdom, but stumbles across the range of roadblocks that one would expect from a story of this kind. The multitude of buxom, scantily clad women gracing the plot will fit right in to the game format, and likely add to the following that the manga and anime already have. Add to this the gripping fight scenes and OP characters, and you have the perfect recipe for an enthralling action game.
If you are looking to play characters with insane godly powers that could destroy entire cities, just wait. There isn’t a release date yet, but this game is sure to fit the bill.
