K-pop artist Hyuna (stylized HyunA) is perhaps best known in the U.S. for her cameo in “Gangnam Style” and her subsequent genderbent follow-up.
But she’s got another oppa waiting in the wings if Psy doesn’t work out: Deadpool.
The rapper and singer, who worked with K-pop band 4minute before launching her solo career, is making a new name for herself among Marvel fans after a photoshoot she did with Wade Wilson himself went viral last week.
The star told Korean show “Section TV Entertainment Relay” on Sunday that she did the shoot because “Deadpool is a hero that you want to love”—and because she really likes the color red. (In fact, we think one of her hit songs, “Red,” should be required viewing for every Deadpool fan.)
As for the Merc with a Mouth, he was clearly loving the attention. Ryan Reynolds shared this on his Instagram:
