Scoop your soup with this sweet little Loch Ness monster

If you’re going to cook, you may as well use fun tools.

'Nessie' ladles in Loch Ness

Winter isn’t quite over yet, which means there’s still reason to make big pots of stew and soup. Feel free to use your old ladle if you want to, but we’re here to tell you that you could be using this one.

Made by Windaze, a company that makes a variety of cool kitchen accessories, this ladle is made of food grade nylon and can stand up by itself thanks to its stubby little legs. It’s also dishwasher safe. And perhaps best of all, when you stick it in a pot it looks just like Nessie in her famous photograph. Whether you believe in her existence or not, you have to admit, this is one cute kitchen accessory.

A set of two ladles (pink and green) retails for $6.99, which is pretty cheap in our eyes. Add on a matching colander, and your kitchen’s kitschiness automatically doubles. Not bad for less than ten bucks!
