A woman on her honeymoon got an unexpected response from her dad about her vacation photos—and the internet is loving it.

Natasha Stroup, 26, has spent the past few days in Hawaii with her husband, celebrating their recent marriage. And as one does, she’s been taking a lot of photos and sending them to her family group chat.

The pictures are standard honeymoon content: flowers, beaches, pedicures, and so on. Rather than just oohing and aahing, Stroup’s father had a fun idea about how to respond. “She was showing the scenery around her, I just thought I’d show the scenery around me,” said Tracy Fritz, Stroup’s 51-year-old father, to BuzzFeed News.

While Stroup’s scenery is picturesque tropics, Fritz is in quite a different environment. He’s a farmer in Hazel, South Dakota. To his daughter’s picture of a yellow hibiscus, Fritz responded with an ear of corn. He also spoofed the pictures of her glittery manicure and pedicure on the beach, sending pictures of his hand in front of endless corn fields, and then a picture of him holding his hand over jeans and work shoes.

Stroup said she immediately showed the pictures to her husband. According to Stroup this type of joke is “typical” of her father’s sense of humor. “He’s just a smart aleck,” she told BuzzFeed News. “He didn’t say anything. He literally sent the photos, that’s it.”

Stroup’s younger sister Kylie Fritz, 19, also got the photos through the family group chat and then posted them on Twitter, where they’ve since gone viral. “I think my dad’s funny,” she said to BuzzFeed News. “He doesn’t think he is.”

Mr. Fritz told BuzzFeed News he was “just trying to make [Natasha] laugh,” and that he’s glad he could make his daughter popular.
