A Republican lawmaker in California unintentionally sided with Democrats when it came time to vote for the state’s revised budget this week because he was distracted by Facebook.

Rep. Scott Wilk, who represents the city of Santa Clarita, was able to change his vote to side with his party, but the $117.5 billion spending plan still ended up passing 52-28, CBS Sacramento reports.

Some of Wilk’s followers let the mistake slide, but other were a teeny bit more upset.
