The worst part of taking your dog out for a ride isn’t the ride itself, but what happens when the dog realizes it’s finally over.
For one beagle, it’s a sudden and inevitable betrayal. You can see it in his eyes as his owner slowly rolls up the window. He clings on for dear life, likely the saddest he’s been in ages, but still it goes slowly up, inch by inch.
Will he ever be able to forgive his humans? Just wait until the next time they ask if he wants to go for a ride.
