The woman with the Most Instagrammed Butt who was also named as one of Forbes’ top social media influencers was on a flight scheduled from Miami to New York. With the jet reportedly stuck on the runway for two hours, Selter stood up to stretch and to put away her jacket, Page Six wrote.
A flight attendant ordered her to sit, and the two reportedly began a verbal confrontation. The attendant asked her if she wanted to get kicked off the plane, and Selter said yes (she said later she was being sarcastic).
The videos Selter shot and posted on Twitter show the confrontation between Selter and American Airlines crew members, as another passenger comes to Selter’s defense.
Then, she was escorted off the plane.

Said Selter to Page Six: “It was humiliating. They made me feel like a terrible person, and I did nothing wrong.”
American Airlines has come under plenty of controversy in recent months. A flight attendant nearly got into a fight with a passenger over a stroller issue, and last October, the NAACP warned Black travelers not to fly the airline because of a “corporate culture of racial insensitivity” and “possible racial bias” against Black passengers.
Here’s how American responded to the Selter incident.
“Ms. Selter was asked to leave the aircraft after a disagreement occurred Saturday night at Miami International Airport (MIA). American offered her hotel accommodations and transportation, which she declined,” the airline said in a statement, via Business Insider. “She flew on American Sunday morning back to New York (LGA)—arriving around 8:30 a.m. ET [Sunday] morning.”
Selter said she would never fly American Airlines again.
