All is not lost for Beliebers on Instagram.
Even though Justin Bieber may have sworn off the photo-sharing app (for the time being, at least), his new Chow puppy Todd appears to have started an account of his own. A new Instagram called ToddTheStud surfaced Wednesday, and more than 25,000 followers are already on board.
Todd first made his debut earlier in the week, when Bieber’s private account was accidentally made public again for a couple hours. It appears that in the time the pop star’s posts were shuttered, he’d acquired a puppy and been quietly sharing images of him to a select audience.
Now that Bieber’s account is dormant again, this Todd spinoff is something new and sweet for Beliebers to pour their attention into, and they’re definitely seizing the opportunity. In the almost 24 hours it’s been up, the account’s single post has garnered over 19,000 likes and nearly 3,000 comments.
There’s no real evidence that this is the real deal. Both the account’s avatar and lone post differ from the images Bieber accidentally made public on his personal account. So either this is a new Bieber side account dedicated solely to Todd, or some fan somewhere has a dog (and hardwood floors) that bear a striking resemblance to Bieber’s.
Either way: He’s so cute it almost doesn’t matter.
