House Democrats are asking for information from a lengthy list of people, businesses, and entities within President Donald Trump’s orbit amid an announcement that they would begin a sweeping investigation into him.

As part of the investigation, the House Judiciary Committee sent letters to more than 80 agencies and people connected to the president. The probe, according to the committee, will investigate allegations of obstruction of justice, corruption, and abuse of power.

“Over the last several years, President Trump has evaded accountability for his near-daily attacks on our basic legal, ethical, and constitutional rules and norms,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said in a statement. “Investigating these threats to the rule of law is an obligation of Congress and a core function of the House Judiciary Committee. We have seen the damage done to our democratic institutions in the two years that the Congress refused to conduct responsible oversight.”

The list includes both Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, his son-in-law Jared Kushner, as well the president’s 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale.
