In a statement issued Tuesday night, Stormy Daniels denied her “alleged sexual relationship” with President Donald Trump.

Trump’s lawyer reportedly paid the porn star $130,000 ahead of the 2016 presidential election to stay quiet about the alleged affair. In a 2011 interview with InTouch magazine, Daniels described sexual encounters with Trump in explicit detail.

But hours before Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, Daniels denied any sexual relationship.

“I am not denying this affair because I was paid ‘hush money’ as has been reported in overseas owned tabloids,” Daniels said in the statement, which was posted to Twitter. “I am denying this affair because it never happened.”

In the InTouch interview, Daniels reportedly said her affair with Trump started at a golf tournament in 2006, just months after the birth of Trump’s son Barron.

Daniels is set to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! immediately following Trump’s address Tuesday night. In her statement, Daniels included the handle to her Instagram account, where her latest selfie is captioned, “Relaxing before the big night.”
