Texas authorities are searching for a woman seen on a home’s Ring doorbell stealing a package—and doing so with her top coming off.
Video of the incident captured by KHOU 11 shows the woman parking her car and dashing up to the door. But the unidentified suspect suffers a wardrobe malfunction, which leaves her breast exposed in front of the camera lens. She’s also not wearing shoes as she completes the heist.
Throughout the theft, the homeowner bangs on the door from inside the house in a failed attempt to startle the woman and stop her.
Ultimately, the homeowner’s plan doesn’t work. The thief steals the package—a Nordstrom dress, according to Daily Mail—before bolting away.
Local police said that the doorbell camera may have shown them enough to arrest the suspect.
“We’ve got some suspects in mind,” an officer told KHOU. “We got a pretty clear look at the vehicle and of the person.”
The officer also warned that “a lot of people are getting packages delivered and ordering online as opposed to going out.”
“So yeah,” the officer continued, “there were more package thieves that have been out there.”
