Conservative media icon Ted Nugent called for the executions of President Barack Obama and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Wednesday in a rambling, profanity-laden Facebook post.

Nugent—who said in the post that he recently attended a screening of the Michael Bay film 13 Hours, which is based on the deadly Sept. 11, 2012 attack on U.S. properties in Benghazi, Libya—lashed out at the “unholy rotten soulless criminal American destroying government,” which he blames for the deaths of four Americans.

The government “must be cleansed,” said Nugent, who in 2012 promised to be “dead or in jail” if Obama was reelected president.

U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, diplomat Sean Smith, and two former Navy SEALs—Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty—were killed by Islamic extremists during the 2012 attacks on the U.S. consulate and a CIA annex in Benghazi.

“What sort of chimpass punk would deny security, turn down 61 requests for security, then tell US forces to STAND DOWN when they were ready to kickass on the allapukes & save American lives!” Nugent continued. “Obama & Clinton, thats who. They should be tried for treason & hung. Our entire fkdup gvt [sic] must be cleansed asap.”

The officer formerly in charge of the Central Intelligence Agency’s Benghazi outpost—identified only as “Bob,” to maintain his cover—told the Washington Post last week that allegations that security forces were ordered to “stand down” during the attack are entirely untrue. Conservative opponents of Clinton have propagated the rumor that the then-secretary of state issued the order.

Nugent was forced to an apology in 2014 after referring to President Obama as a “subhuman mongrel,” a comment that was widely received as inherently racist. While holding an assault rifle during a 2007 concert, he said Obama should “suck on my machine gun.” He also called Clinton a “worthless bitch.”

Nugent’s hatred of Clinton was well-established even before the turn of the century. In 1994, when Bill Clinton was president, Nugent said to Colorado magazine Westward of Hillary: “You probably can’t use the term `toxic cunt’ in your magazine, but that’s what she is. Her very existence insults the spirit of individualism in this country. This bitch is nothing but a two-bit whore for Fidel Castro.”

Nugent, who serves on the board of the National Rifle Association, endorsed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Facebook in December, calling him the “hellraiser America has needed for a very longtime.”
