President Trump forgets to put his hand on his heart during national anthem

On an uncharacteristically slow news day in American politics, the White House Easter Egg Roll has stolen the prize as the biggest story of the day—and one moment, in particular, is raising some patriotic eyebrows.

First Lady Melania Trump was captured on camera having to remind her husband, the president of the United States, to put his hand over his heart during the national anthem.

There is some evidence that President Trump struggles to remember the proper protocol when the national anthem is concerned.

At the National Prayer Service following Trump’s inauguration in January, he is seen putting his hand on his heart… and drumming on his chest with it as he sings.

So, it’s somewhat of a mixed bag. But regardless, as far as political blunders go, this one is pretty far down on the list.
