Mark Zuckerberg posted a brilliant video from 2002 showing his reaction to getting accepted to Harvard.

Zuckerberg posted the clip to his Facebook page Thursday, announcing he’d be returning to the university next week to give a commencement speech, “My dad took this video when I got accepted to Harvard. Next week I’m going back for commencement to get my degree. #tbt”

Filmed on a low-resolution video camera by dad Edward, the video shows young Zuckerberg’s shockingly restrained reaction to getting accepted into one of the world’s most prestigious universities.

Wearing a grey T-shirt (you’ve got to be kidding) and what appear to be plaid pajamas bottoms, Zuckerberg announced the good news with an emotionless “Yay… I got accepted.” The reaction from his dad was much more appropriate, “Are you serious!? All right!!! YES. GREAT.”

You then start seeing glimmers of excitement coming out of young Zuckerberg, who punches the air with a wide grin on his face. The shot then pans down to the Zuckerberg dog, who doesn’t seem all that thrilled by the hoopla. Maybe it already knew Mark would drop out during his sophomore year to create Facebook.
