A word of advice for Hillary Clinton: Don’t quit your day job.

This well-intentioned spoof of the Netflix hit House of Cards is framed as a birthday gag for President Bill Clinton’s 68th tomorrow, but it never gets off the ground as Mrs. Clinton has a challenge with the first rule of being a straight man: Try not to laugh. Kevin Spacey, executive producer and star of House of Cards, attempts to fool the former Secretary of State by imitating her husband fishing for hints about his birthday gift. Hillary’s quivering lip and smirk indicate she’s about to burst into laughter from the first minute.

The skit veered off into a bit of politics and away from birthday wishes when “Bill” asks Hill whether she’d be getting him an elephant as a gift. The reference is aimed at Mrs. Clinton’s 2013 campaign against elephant poaching and the illegal ivory trade. Next up, they go back and forth about selecting a name for Chelsea’s new baby. At that point, the jig is up and the names offered up are attached to the lead characters on the Netflix hit show.

While intended to be a tribute to the 42nd president, the video is as much a subtle campaign poke at Hillary Clinton, who is considered to be a front-runner for the Democratic nomination for president in 2016. YouTube or not, she’s still not talking.
