Today is a huge day for the Chipotle-loving and vegan crossover community: The Mexican fast-casual chain has a one-day buy-one-get-one-free offer, and all you have to do is try the tofu.

Buy the new “Sofritas” burrito today, and you can take back your receipt the next day (or anytime after) to get a burrito or tacos of your choice. Free! Fill it with meat if you want. Just a gigantic heap of pulled pork and steak and chicken. (That’ll probably be extra, but you get the idea.) Raise your cholesterol back to Guy Fieri levels.

As a vegetarian, I have personally enjoyed many a Sofritas burrito. But for those living the meat lifestyle, they might have some trepidation about abandoning their beloved Barbacoa or Carnitas for some imposter protein. Don’t be scared. You can do it. It looks like meat, smells like meat, and tastes like meat, but it’s not! If someone told me it was meat while I was eating it, I would probably believe him.

And if you really hate it, just buy the tofu burrito for a friend.

Here is the exact deal, as shared on the Chipotle website:

Order our organic tofu Sofritas on Monday, January 26th at any Chipotle in the US or Canada, then bring your receipt back on your next visit—from January 27th through February 28th, 2015—for a FREE burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos of your choice.

They’re basically saying, “Listen: Try it. You’ll probably hate it, so the next one’s on us.”
