For some unfathomable yet delightful reason, the BBC just licensed a series of Doctor Who/Mr. Men children’s books. Each of the twelve Doctors will soon get his own book, in the style of Mr. Men classics like Mr. Tickle and Little Miss Bossy.

The series starts with Mr. Men books for the first, fourth, eleventh and twelfth Doctors, published this week. To celebrate, the BBC asked Michelle Gomez (Doctor Who‘s Missy) to narrate Dr. Twelfth, the Peter Capaldi-era Mr. Men crossover. It’s cute and surprisingly in-character!

Michelle Gomez should definitely do more audiobooks, preferably from Missy’s perspective.
