Black Mirror, the show about our increasingly tenuous and terrible relationship with technology, just released a trailer for its upcoming season.

From virtual reality and video gaming to soldiers and security, the six new standalone episodes will cover some of society’s most bleeding edges and pressing questions. It also includes what appear to be outstandingly creepy performances from stars like Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World) and Michael Kelly (House of Cards’ Doug Stamper).

The highly anticipated third season hits Netflix as an original production Oct. 21. Let’s all cross our fingers that these six new stories are less prescient than the last.
