MENUMENU

This might be the best Nintendo ad on Craigslist

Super Mario

He’s selling much more than just a game.

It’s never easy to rise above the morass of junk and spam posted on Craigslist’s “For Sale” section—unless you’re this Texas man who understands the art of the hard sell.

Seeking to unload the classic Super Mario Land for Game Boy at the price of $5, he pulls out all the stops in his lengthy pitch, reminding buyers that the cartridge will transport them to a magical yesteryear without any memes, “share” buttons, or Kardashian fever.

The same silver-tongued salesman is also apparently responsible for another Craigslist gem that explains his advertising strategy in fuller detail.

Forget about the great deals; we just want to meet this guy.
