Strange man runs around telling people he’s putting them ‘on the news’

Some people have too much time on their hands. Other people have no sense of shame. YouTube user Ed Bassmaster fits both descriptions.

Bassmaster wandered the streets of Philadelphia at night with a camera in hand, screaming at random people that they were “going on the news.” His approach was met with everything from swear-laden responses to apathy (which is how most Philadelphians react to almost everything), and the resulting video is a peculiar thing indeed.

So far, none of Ed Bassmaster’s subjects have actually appeared on TV
news, but we’ll have more on this story as it develops. First, we have to check weather and traffic.
