Dog agility competitions aren’t just displays of strength, swiftness, and cunning. To truly excel, a dog must focus his mind and center his thoughts—that is, unless there are treats involved.
This stomach-first thinking cost an adorable golden retriever the top prize on the Finnish dog show Koira Mestari, but just because he lost the prize doesn’t mean he didn’t win in the end. In addition to enjoying a feast of champions and all the toys he could ever want, this pooch took home the ultimate prize: our hearts.
