Conan O’Brien got ‘Game of Thrones’ stars to play Overwatch with him

Their characters try to kill each other on television, and their avatars kill each other in a video game.

Conan O’Brien is hopelessly clueless about video games, but he looked downright competent on Monday night next to a pair of Game of Thrones stars who were bewildered by control pads.

Overwatch, the new first-person shooter from Blizzard Entertainment, is a team-based game, so Conan needed some partners for his latest Clueless Gamer segment. He chose Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey. They’re much better actors than gamers.

Dinklage is actually no stranger to video games. He landed the role of the AI companion Ghost in the first-person shooter Destiny. He was ultimately replaced in the role after his performance was not well-received by players.

It seems as though Dinklage walked away from his video-game acting experience with some skills, however. He took home the prize for best Overwatch player, a fake Conan head stuck on a pike.

Overwatch was released on Wednesday for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
