In a TikTok posted on Monday, one creator shows off how her mother wakes her up in the morning with breakfast in bed. Many viewers commented that the scene was straight out of a movie, complete with the mom’s styled blonde hair, high heels, and fluffy white dog.
Australian TikToker Sasha Morpeth, @sashamorpeth, shared the video and said her mother woke her up with breakfast in bed each day, addressing in the comments that people didn’t believe her
The video received over 13.8 million views and 2.8 million likes. Many viewers were shocked by how wholesome the mother-daughter relationship is. “Good morning my little possum,” Morpeth’s mom says.
In the video, Morpeth’s mom knocks on the bedroom door as Morpeth lays in bed watching Dynasty on Netflix.
“Good morning, Mom,” Morpeth replies.
Her mom enters the room wearing a white dress, gold jewelry, strappy heels. She holds the dog’s leash in one hand and an acai bowl with kiwi, pears, and granola in the other hand.
“Now the girls and I are going for a run in about 20 minutes. Would you like to join us?” the mom asks.
“Absolutely not,” Morpeth responds, laughing.
Morpeth’s mom hands her daughter breakfast in bed and makes her way around the room to open the blinds and let sunlight into the bedroom.
As the morning banter continues, Morpeth’s mom asks her instead to lunch with her friends.
“Aww OK then. Well we are actually going to go to the country club for lunch so perhaps you might like to join us there,” the mom says.
“Yeah I think I would rather do that,” Morpeth replies.
“OK, love you possum. Have a lovely day,” the mom says as she leaves the bedroom.
Users on TikTok were immediately charmed by Morpeth’s mom, calling her a rich icon.
“It’s just nice to see because sometimes people can have money and be so rude but your mom is so kind and it makes my heart happy,” one user wrote.
Other viewers discussed the rich lifestyle the video exudes. Morpeth’s bedroom appears to be quite lavish, and daily life apparently includes breakfast in bed and lunches at the country club.
“This video smells like the most expensive perfumes,” another user commented.
Morpeth did not immediately respond to the Daily Dot’s request for comment.
