A man in Illinois was charged with sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl while she was in an online class, according to WGN9.

Catrell Walls, 18, was taken into custody after a teacher saw him “involved in a sexual act” with the child Thursday afternoon at a home.

The girl is reportedly a student at Bronzeville Academy Charter School, and it remains unclear if she and Walls are related. The teacher reported the assault to the principal, and school officials do not believe other students saw the assault.

The child was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, and the Department of Children and Family Services is now investigating.

Walls is set to appear in court on Saturday.
