It may be the second-best thing you’ll ever microwave. (Next to leftover pizza.)

Are you the type of person who loves to write down clever notes to remember the important stuff? Do you feel like traditional word processing software puts a damper on your creativity? These notebooks combine the classic feel of scratching out drawings, diagrams and notes with pen and paper with a innovative technological twist. Unlike traditional notebooks, these smart notebooks can digitally backup notes in an instant. Your notes last forever, preserved in the cloud. And unlike notebooks, which can consume lots of paper, Rocketbooks are eco-friendly. So you can help save a few trees while you flex your creative juices.

There are two different models: the Rocketbook Wave and theRocketbook Everlast.

Using patent-pending image capture technology, the Rocketbook app captures and sends your notes to cloud services. The app is compatible with services like Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, Box, iCloud, Slack and even your email address.

There are seven unique symbols at the bottom of each page, so you can assign your notes in the order that works for you. Different uses for different pages? We know you’ve got a method to your madness, and it’s no problem. And just in case, there’s a unique QR code on each page, to help you stay organized.

Once the ink has dried fully (about 15 seconds) and you scan the pages, all you need to do is stick the Rocketbook Wave in your microwave to wipe the entire notebook clean for reuse. The specially designed thermal logo on the cover tells you when your Rocketbook is done. You can re-use the Wave up to ten times with fidelity.

Don’t own a microwave? That’s a little weird, because microwavable pizza gets us really excited — but we get it. There’s also the Rocketbook Everlast, which works exactly like the Wave. The only difference is, you don’t need to microwave the Everlast: just wipe it with a wet cloth to erase its pages. That means you can write on and reuse the pages infinitely. Officially marking your breakup with all your other notebooks, ever.
