Mikah Neufeld, a McDonald’s employee, reignited a conspiracy that all the McDonald’s cups hold the same amount of liquid on TikTok. Neufeld posted a video showing Coke getting poured from a small cup into a medium cup, then into a large cup.

Since being posted on Neufeld’s account, @mykah.mykah, the video has racked up over 11 million views. “They do be lying to us doe,” Neufeld captioned the post. The video also currently has over 12,000 comments, some of which are calling Neufeld’s claim into question.

“That’s what happens when you fill up each of the cups slightly and then pour more in,” one user commented, with another saying, “So, nobody knows that he put some Coke in the cups before the fill-up?”

As some pointed out, Neufeld never shows the bottom of the cups.

Neufald responded to the accusations in a comment. “People who think there was already coke in the cups,” he wrote with four clown emoji, implying the skeptics are clowns.

Not everybody is against Mikah, however. One user who claimed they worked at McDonald’s said, “This is true, always say no ice or ice on the side (in another cup) and only order smalls, NEVER mediums.”

BuzzFeed Video in 2014 compared McDonald’s cup sizes from around the world. BuzzFeed Video claimed at the time that the small cup is 16 ounces, the medium cup is 21 ounces, and the large cup is 30 ounces.

The Daily Dot has reached out to McDonald’s.
