Today, President Donald Trump addressed the nation about his escalating actions with Iran, his first comments since he ordered a strike that killed Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
In the speech, Trump reiterated a promise that Iran would never develop a nuclear weapon while he was in office, but outside of that, his speech was a restrained response, one that did not promise or pledge further military action.
While that helped put people at ease, Trump’s bevy of mispronounced words, slurred speech, and constant sniffing sure didn’t.
While speaking from the White House, Trump botched the word “tolerated.”

He dropped some of his trademark sniffs straight into the microphone.
Trump just blamed everything on Obama. It’s hard to hear over the loud sniffing. I don’t think this is what Iran expected to hear. pic.twitter.com/eM1k4zatKQ— Mystery Solvent (@MysterySolvent) January 8, 2020
58 times. He sniffed 58 times during his address. Here are all of them. pic.twitter.com/GoAIfsfdLd— Timothy Burke (@bubbaprog) January 8, 2020
And on Twitter Adderall trended, a frequent accusation that Trump is hopped up on the drug.

Obvious he shouldn’t be leading a super power.
His can’t even manage 2 competently handle an email account. This senile sociopath can’t be trusted & endangers National security.#impeachment #TrumpsWar #25thAmendmentNow pic.twitter.com/bhyfVKTdTY
No MSM will ever ask that question. Trump snorts Adderall every day, along with the benzo’s he takes as well. It will come out in the books after he leaves office. If he ever does.— NoelCaslerComedy (@CaslerNoel) January 8, 2020
There there is… whatever he did with his tongue here.
Trump is a neurological nightmare struggling at the podium. Words like “tolerated” & “accomplishment” are unpronounceable, although “a compliment” revealed his inner desire. The protruding tongue appears- completely expected now. Pack him up- head to the Mayo Clinic neurological pic.twitter.com/5d5jtsEdlK— Tom Joseph (@TomJChicago) January 8, 2020
It was all a little too much for people to handle.
