While President Donald Trump ran as a man of the people, he’s rich and can’t be blamed for not knowing exactly how the average person dumps.
At a roundtable on cutting red tape on Friday, Trump was discussing Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations he wanted to roll back when he dropped this line about water regulations and what seems to be his opinion on environmental friendly standards like low-flow toilets.
“People are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times, as opposed to once. They end up using more water. EPA is looking at that very strongly at my suggestion,” he said.
Here's the video, via WaPo, of Trump discussing toilet flushing: "We have a situation where we're looking very strongly at sinks and showers, and other elements of bathrooms … You turn on the faucet and you don't get any water … People are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times." pic.twitter.com/pPE0im4RxL— Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) December 6, 2019
Either the president isn’t exactly aware of how low-flow toilets work, or he has bowel movements greater than any man.
