A viral tweet indicating Stormy Daniels' lawyer said he has Trump's nudes took the quote out of context.

Stormy Daniels’ lawyer didn’t say he has Trump’s nudes

He only indicated 'documents.'

A viral tweet on Monday indicated Stormy Daniels lawyer said he had “photos of Trump’s penis,” but the paraphrased quote was—thankfully—false and taken out of context.

The full transcript of an interview with MSNBC on Monday shows that Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, said his team has “documents.” He did not specifically indicate photos. It’s unclear if he meant evidence of Daniels’ alleged affair with President Donald Trump or evidence of threats against her.

MELBER: You alleged that there was a physical threat made against your client, Stormy Daniels. Why didn’t you include that in your legal filings thus far?

AVENATTI: Ari, I didn’t allege that, I stated it as a fact. And I’m going to state it again today as a fact. It is not an allegation. Ari, you know as a good lawyer yourself, that good lawyers don’t play their entire hand on the first go-around. We have a lot of information, a lot of evidence, a lot of documents that haven’t come to light yet. Numerous pieces of evidence, numerous facts, and we’re not gonna show our hand in the beginning weeks of any case. No good lawyer would do that, and we’re certainly not gonna do it here.

(Here’s the full clip.)

But the potential of photos of Trump’s genitalia had already thoroughly grossed out the internet.

Daniels, a porn actress, is suing the president to void a non-disclosure agreement she says has prevented her from speaking out about an affair with Trump that started in 2006. Her lawyer said on Friday that she was threatened with physical violence to stay quiet.
