There is little the Supreme Leader of the Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea cannot do. Kim Jong-un, clearly resting after vanquishing the great American Satan in the war over the release of The Interview, took to the skies in an Korean People’s Air Force Antonov An-148.
While the typical North Korean news reader shouts praise in the background of the video, the Supreme Leader pilots with great skill the advanced military aircraft from takeoff to landing. Just in the edge of the frame is a military co-pilot, who appears to be doing much of the actual flying.
Despite his father, Eternal Party General Secretary Kim Jong-il’s fear of flying, it is clear that Kim Jr. has no such qualms about being at the controls of a 45-ton airplane. North Korea is not known for its general aircraft safety, given national carrier Air Koryo’s unique one star safety rating.
Landing the aircraft, Kim’s powers were so apparent that he was able to bring it down safely without touching either the throttle or yoke of the Antonov. North Korea is truly blessed to have such an intelligent Supreme Commander.
