Kellyanne Conway, high-profile adviser to President Donald Trump, reportedly punched a man at an inauguration gala on Friday night.

Conway allegedly “began throwing some mean punches” at one of “two guys in tuxes” who were fighting at the Liberty Ball, an inauguration gala, according to Fox Business correspondent Charlie Gasparino.

The New York Daily News corroborated Gasparino’s story, reporting that an unnamed witness saw Conway punch the man in the face “at least three times.”

Gasparino, who told the tale in a Facebook post published on Saturday, said the scuffle “lasted a few mins no one was hurt except maybe the dude she smacked.”

“Now I know why trump hired her,” Gasparino wrote. “Btw I exaggerate none of this.”

Gasparino also says “anarchist thugs” allegedly attempted to attack Scott Baio and his wife before the Fox Business correspondent and his producer stepped in to quell the incident from escalating further.

Conway served as Trump’s campaign manager and now holds the position of counselor to the president in the Trump White House. A regular guest on television news and talk shows, she has become one of the most recognizable figures in the Trump administration.

On Monday, Conway revealed that she now has Secret Service protection. If the reports are correct, however, it’s clear she can hold her own.
