GoPro cameras let anyone capture breathtaking videos—provided they’re brave enough to attempt whatever feat they want to do document. Now, GoPro is taking its love of daredevil recordings a step further, turning one man’s Norway skiing adventure into an old-school video game.

Nikolai Schirmer’s already awesome video from Norway’s Isskard Glacier has gotten the full 8-bit treatment, complete with a health bar, a scoring system for tricks, and some great retro sound effects.

Needless to say, GoPro’s effects are fantastic additions to an already great video. They emphasize the idea that even though some of us aren’t brave enough to race down a mountain ourselves, we can still enjoy a small bit of the thrill. Hooray for gadgets!
