The home of David Hogg, a Parkland school shooting survivor who since became an outspoken gun control advocate, was reportedly swatted on Tuesday.

Hogg was not present at the time, when the Coral Springs Fire Rescue responded to a call saying there was a hostage situation at his home, according to ABC.

Swatting is a dangerous prank where people fake distress calls to emergency services to get police and SWAT teams to arrive at other people’s houses. It has turned deadly in recent years, with police accidentally killing a man while responding to a prank call in Kansas in December 2017.

Hogg graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School this month, where 17 people were killed in February. Since then, Hogg and other classmates have spoken in favor of gun control.

Hogg is in D.C. this week to receive the RFK Human Rights award.
