Yes, it’s 1991, as the trailer makes very clear, and there’s a lot of ephemera from the era, as well as faces from the original film and 2015 Netflix prequel Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp. There are new faces, too, like Alyssa Milano, Adam Scott, and Jai Courtney.
