This was not subtle.

M.I.A. just dropped her incredibly shot, self-directed video for “P.O.W.A.,” from her fifth (and perhaps final) album, A.I.M.

There’s apparently a not-so-subtle nod toward President Trump’s U.S./Mexico border plans residing with the kaleidoscopic visuals. In the video, a group of red-hatted young men make a choreographed wave in front of a red-coated wall. “Say this is people power,” she sings. “Throw up my finger and I’m taking on the Tower.”

The Sri Lankan rapper and singer tweeted out the song’s lyrics, with lines also claiming American government interference:

“You know me I don’t watch TV/People watching me are only gonna see/I’m not your enemy, FBI checking me/Curbing my money but that don’t bother me.”
