It’s hard to describe why exactly certain things calm babies down more than others. For some, it might be a Top 40 song or even “Gangnam Style.” But one baby takes comfort in something a little closer to the dark side.

Micah Hayman discovered that when his son is crying, he can be soothed by hearing John Williams’ iconic Imperial March from Star Wars. It starts off with some curiosity and confusion, but by the end of it, his son is at full attention. (For a baby, anyway.)

These are his first steps. Soon, the lightsaber training will begin, as will the path to the dark side.
