Nick Offerman’s face is being used to advertise this public men’s room

Nick Offerman‘s face is now being used to mark the entrance to a men’s public restroom in Madurai, India. Given his turn as Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation is an essential representation of 21st-century masculinity, we can hardly be surprised.

But is there any particular reason Offerman got this gig? We wonder.

And: Are we overlooking an even stranger coincidence?

Offerman, for his part, seems honored to have scored the role.

His wife, Megan Mullally, seemed to prefer this dentistry ad in which none of his teeth are visible.

But, as with most corporate spokesman deals, it could always be worse.
