If you’re going on a talent show and your talent is knife throwing, conventional wisdom would say you should probably be a talented knife thrower. But a contestant on Lithuania’s Got Talent, an offshoot of the British reality show, did not refine his skills before appearing on the show and nearly killing his assistant.

The set up was simple: The man threw knives in the general direction of his assistant, who would hold up playing cards as targets. But the man throwing the knives hadn’t sharpened his skills beforehand, and ended up shedding some blood from his poor assistant.
