Marvel’s Iron Man has a very distinctive look thanks to his famous suit. With a little imagination, though, it’s possible to blend that familiar aesthetic with other iconic pop-culture characters, all while retaining the essence of Tony Stark’s. That’s exactly what artist Sam Kwok has done with his amazing custom Iron Man figures.

Kwok gives Hot Toys Iron Man action figures a complete makeover, reimagining some of them to look like heroes including Batman or Spider-Man, while others get more unusual transformations into character like Hello Kitty. The detail on each figure is quite impressive. The custom figures open up a world of possibilities that Marvel should consider the next time they redesign the suit. What villain would risk angering a Hello Kitty-armored Iron Man?

You can see a selection of Kwok’s Iron Man figures below. More Iron Man figures, along with Kwok’s other work, can be found on his Facebook page.
