Fangirls interested in everything from cosplay to technology can channel their creative side and celebrate their interests in a brand new way with the latest release from Her Universe Press.
The publishing imprint launched by Ashley Eckstein, founder of online geek-girl fashion retailer Her Universe, has released Fangirls: A Coloring Book for Girls That Like Stuff. It features illustrations by artist Katie Cook and is written by Cook and Eckstein. There are 50 single-sided pages to color that feature fangirls with a variety of interests.
Sample pages shared online have so far revealed girls like “Convention Callie” and “Fashion Felicity,” each with a small amount of text accompanying the illustration.
Considering that coloring books are no longer just for kids, geeks of any age would probably get a kick out of this book and feel empowered by the range represented in its pages.
