If you thought watching senior citizens play Grand Theft Auto V was an epic culture clash, wait until you see them play Mortal Kombat X.

The React YouTube channel, famous for putting people in unfamiliar situations and recording their reactions, dropped these elderly folk into a no-holds-barred Mortal Kombat tournament.

Enjoy watching these players’ frustrations at not being able to figure out special moves, their regrets about switching characters, their inability to pull off Fatalities, and their rising blood thirst—all of which will be familiar to anyone who plays Mortal Kombat.

We would like to thank the React channel for providing a Mortal Kombat tournament in which the men didn’t even get to the final round. We would also like to express our continuing admiration for Rock and Libby, whose excitement in these Seniors React videos demonstrates that one is never too old to get into video games.

We enjoyed the time we spent with Mortal Kombat X when we reviewed the game. It is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, if you feel like getting your hands bloody.
