Batman: Arkham Knight promises more of an open world than previous Batman games and a new, kick-ass Batmobile.
We had our first look at Arkham Knight at E3 this summer. Now developer Rocksteady Games has released the first, proper trailer for the newest game in their successful Batman series, which was preceded by Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
Rocksteady is generally regarded as the first studio to make a video game where Batman felt like, well, Batman. It may also be the first studio to get the Batmobile right. The most exciting moments in this trailer come via Batman’s signature ride.
Batman: Arkham Knight is also the first game in the Rocksteady series to not appear on the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. Arkham Knight is slated for a June 2 release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
