The private school where she worked, the Bosque School, informed parents of the teacher’s firing through a letter sent out last Thursday. The school has not released the teacher’s name but reveal that she taught eighth-grade math.

Students discovered a porn video featuring the teacher and brought it to the attention of school administrators. The school told local news station News 13 that the video was posted while the teacher was employed and thus violated school policy.

“I have no idea when her videos were made,” Dr. Jessie Barrie, head of school at Bosque School, said. “I can’t speak to that but clearly, there was online activity that has occurred during her tenure as a teacher and that very much violates our norms as a community.”

It is unclear who filmed and uploaded the porn video of the teacher. The school remains tight-lipped about the teacher’s explanation for the video but noted that because it was posted during her tenure, it was a fireable offense.

“As soon as we got this information she was immediately put on leave and as soon as we had that confirmation, she was immediately terminated,” Barrie said.

“The fact that our students were engaging with this online content, and obviously, we’re very concerned about it as it related to creating that community, that safe community,” she continued. “Our teachers should be role models and outstanding individuals that our students can feel safe and comfortable with. We have a very extensive employee handbook and within that handbook lays out all the guidelines with how we can create that safe and nurturing community and this very much violates that.”

The teacher had been employed by the Bosque School for four years at the time of her firing.
