Chrissy Teigen has been known to randomly send gifts to her social media followers in the past, but she’s embracing the holiday spirit with a very special present to a fan.
Last week, Teigen posted a preview of Lip Sync Battle’s holiday special to Instagram that showcased her outfit, an off-the-shoulder red velvet dress paired off with a Santa hat. As is usually the case with Teigen’s outfits on the show, she pulled it off spectacularly.

Rebecca Howe, who works in public relations, had to let Teigen know how much she liked the dress—and added a request.

Teigen, however, responded with an offer to send her the dress.

Howe later wrote about the experience on her blog, noting that while she hoped for a reply from Teigen, she never expected Teigen to actually offer the dress to her. But Teigen was serious, and the dressed arrived just in time for Christmas. The dress fits, and Howe plans to wear it to ring in the new year.
“I just want to thank you, Chrissy, for the beautiful dress,” Howe wrote. “You rocked it on Lip Sync Battle, and now I promise to rock it, too. You are so generous and down-to-earth. Don’t ever stop being yourself, please. I will be sending you a thank you package, and I am so excited to put it together (anyone who knows me, knows I love sending thank you cards, so a thank you package is going to be like ten times better). I am a lucky girl to be given this opportunity.”
