Have you ever wondered if your newest Tinder match is a celebrity just looking for love like the rest of us lonely souls?

Wonder no more. Tinder is following the lead of literally every other social network and verifying certain profiles with a little check mark to alert potential matches that they are kind of a big deal.

“Notable public figures, celebrities and athletes” will get blue check marks, Tinder said, so that other users know they’re not impersonators.

Much like verified badges on Twitter and Instagram, the blue check marks are intended to cut down on fake or spam accounts taking advantage of Tinder users who think they’ve stumbled upon an actual celebrity.

Check marks will begin rolling out today. Tinder did not explain how it would determine which celebrities or public figures will be worthy of verification.
