Well, here’s one way to (probably) come down with the highly contagious disease still ravaging the nation.
At a rally for President Donald Trump, while the president is still technically within his 14-day limit for being infectious after coming down with COVID-19, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) enthusiastically attended the event and mingled with the crowd without a mask
But not content just to breathe the air of the hundreds in attendance, DeSantis chose to dish out high-fives and then was seen wiping his nose.
If you are counting how many CDC recommended protocols DeSantis violates in the video, the answer is a bunch of them.
The response on Twitter was general disgust.
It took about six days after the Amy Coney Barrett nomination event for attendees to come down with COVID, so check for statements from DeSantis’ office around Saturday.
