A Christian micro-influencer on TikTok is getting roasted after encouraging her followers to “vote for Jesus” in a now-viral video.

The video, produced by _lipsticklinz, who runs a “Christian-based makeup” page and boasts 60,000 followers, has already gained millions of views and been shared widely across social media.

In the clip, the TikToker laments not knowing who to vote for, Democrats or Republicans, before coming to the conclusion that Jesus is the ideal choice.

Given that we are just days away from what could easily be described as the most contentious presidential election in modern American history, users online seemed less than thrilled with the performative video.

“As a devout christian, please stop,” @tatumturnup wrote.

Others pointed out one minor flaw in the TikTok user’s plan: Jesus isn’t even on the ballot. “Girl he’s not on the ballot,” @tiemyvans_ said.

Many were convinced that despite the video, _lipsticklinz would undoubtedly be checking off the box next to President Donald Trump. “She voting for Trump,” @cb_shep said.

Another TikToker suggested that all Republicans should absolutely write-in Jesus instead of choosing Trump.

But most viewers simply wondered how they could get back the roughly 40 seconds they spent watching the video. “I am legitimately so annoyed at myself for watching this whole video,” @amritaxnag said.

Several users also suggested that we probably should have just let Trump ban TikTok after all. “Every day it becomes more clear that they really dropped the ball not banning TikTok,” @HoesDelRondo said.

Recent polling suggests that the chances of Jesus becoming the next president are slim to none.
