A student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida, where a gunman killed 17 with an AR-15, has an ingenious idea to rename the weapon that’s the popular choice for many mass shooters.

Call them “Marco Rubio,” writes Sarah Chadwick, because they are “so easy to buy.”

The Florida senator has faced the brunt of Stoneman Douglas students’ ire in the wake of the shooting, as the massive donations he’s received from the NRA have been brought to the forefront again and again.

In a town hall hosted by CNN after the shooting, when asked directly if he would refuse NRA contributions going forward, Rubio said he supports anyone who wants to “buy into my agenda.”
